Luke Bryan Says His Mom LeClaire Will Have Her Credit Card “Burning” While Shopping in Las Vegas

Luke Bryan previously shared that his “Mommy is coming to Vegas” and now during a recent interview he joked that he was worried about hefty credit card bills after his visit.

On Monday (February 7), the country superstar made a special appearance on hello america to discuss his latest single “Up,” the upcoming season of american idol and her highly anticipated first-ever Las Vegas residency, which kicks off in a few days on February 11 at Theater of the world of seaside resorts.

When hello america host George Stephanopoulos asked about his “very special VIP guest,” Bryan said, “Oh yeah, my mom, she already punched her ticket.”

Bryan also joked that his mother, LeClaire, would spend a lot of money while in Sin City at some of the local stores on the Las Vegas Strip.

“So, what’s the big mall here?” [The Shops At Crystals] and all that. Yeah, my credit card will be in flames on Friday,” Bryan continued.

Earlier this month during an episode of CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown with Cody Alan, the country hitmaker first broke the news that his mother, LeClaire, would be attending his Sin City residency.

“You better believe Mom’s coming to Vegas!” Luke captioned the music video on Twitter.

During the interview with Alan, Bryan shared that his mother was already ready for Vegas. He also joked that he was going to have to pay expensive fees for her to smoke in his hotel room and that she might even order room service while visiting Resorts World.

“She has already punched her ticket. She’ll be in Vegas,” the “Up” singer told Alan, adding, “She’ll probably bring fried catfish to the bedroom. She will smoke cigarettes in the room so I will have to pay the no smoking fee. She’s coming to Vegas with bells on, she’s ready to rock!

Bryan will take the stage in Vegas on February 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25 and 26. The world-class, 5,000-seat theater opened last November. Tickets are on sale now at AXS.com.

In addition to Bryan’s upcoming Vegas shows, the superstar just announced his 30+ city “Raised Up Right” tour, which kicks off June 9 in Charleston, West Virginia. The trek will also include support from Riley Green, Mitchell Tenpenny and DJ Rock.

“My favorite place is performing on stage in front of country music fans,” Bryan said in a press release. “So grateful every night when I take the stage and know you’re there to have a blast by my side. It never gets old!”

The tour takes its name from the chorus of Bryan’s current hit single, “Up”, which is the sixth single from Bryan’s No. 1 album, Born here Live here Die here.
