WESTFIELD – A new flea market is coming to Westfield. It will be a New York-style flea market with an emphasis on vintage and antique goods as well as fashionable clothing.

“It’s a lively and fun market with vintage goods, antiques, fashion and consumer goods,” the organizers said in a statement. “This market is all that is allowed as long as it is family-friendly.”

The flea market will be held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until September. This Saturday will be “Second-hand and antique dealers week” with dealers from Buffalo, Erie, Jamestown in attendance.

The new market takes place in the same park as the Westfield Farmers ‘and Artisans’ Market, which is celebrating its 15th season. It features over 40 vendors, live music, food trucks, shops and restaurants under the trees in leafy Moore Park at the corner of Route 20 and Route 394.

Saturday is market day in Westfield. With two large markets in Moore Park in the center of historic downtown, the main streets come alive with Restaurant Row and over a dozen unique boutiques. The restaurants offer al fresco dining, chef’s specialties and local menus.

“You can find brick oven pizzas, a craft brewery, martini lounge, wine bar, southern cafe, fine dining, homemade soup kitchen, healthy coffee and some of the best homemade pies in Portage Pie, ” said the organizers.

Westfield has many antique shops, boutiques and markets. New this year is California Dreamin ‘at 9 Market St., a fashion store that appears to have been ripped off at Abbot Kinney Blvd. at Venice Beach.

The Westfield-Barcelona Chamber of Commerce has released its 2021 program and map, with a bird’s-eye view of all restaurants and shops and a detailed weekly program. These are available at all Westfield businesses, at the Chautauqua Visitors Bureau, at village offices and at WestfieldNY.com.

The Westfield Farmers and Artisans Market is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until September. The market is located in Moore Park at the intersection of highways 20 and 394 in central Westfield.
