Christmas Tree Extravaganza Held at Papa Joe’s Bayside
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG / WECP) – Thanksgiving is now a thing of the past and Christmas trees are growing everywhere.
A local Christmas tree store has popped up at Papa Joe’s Bayside.
The freshly cut trees were five to ten feet tall.
Participants could not only buy trees, but also buy from several vendors, enjoy great music, and enjoy food trucks.
Proceeds from Saturday’s event will benefit a local children’s rights center.
âChildren are our future indeed. So if we don’t take care of them, they might not take care of us. So yes, children are our future and they are just precious little gems of innocence and what we need to do is take care of them, âsaid Cindy Sunshine Williams, staff member.
Several vendors also sold different Christmas themed products.
âIn our booth, we actually personalize Christmas gifts for people. We make mugs, blankets, napkins and backpacks and personalize them for people. A lot of people liked this because they can get something different, âsaid Judie Burant, of Burant Beach Crafts.
The trees will be sold on Sunday at Lighthouse Church from 8 a.m. until they are sold out.
